POOL PURIFICATION

A system for purifying swimming pool water uses NASA technology developed to purify water on the Apollo spacecraft. Caribbean Clear, Inc. markets an Automatic Pool Purifier that dispenses silver ions to kill bacteria and copper ions to kill algae. The company claims that purifying a pool costs less with their system than with conventional methods, and it eliminates the taste and smell of chlorine.
