The PS233 is the current main PoolSolutions kit and includes tests for all of the following:
  • DPD-FAS - accurate & wide-range chlorine
  • phenol red pH (PS200)
  • OTO quick chlorine (PS200)
  • Total alkalinity
  • Calcium hardness
  • Cyanuric acid (stabilizer)

We've begun work on the new PS234, which will replace the PS233. We expect to begin shipping pre-orders during February 2006, and accepting regular orders, in March. We'll begin emailing pre-order offers after Jan. 1, to existing customers and then to Forum users.

  • The quality of OTO/phenol red kits at WalMart and the like is variable. This is a good one.

PS251 Copper Kit
  • Measures from 50 parts per billion to 1000 ppb ( = 1 ppm).
  • This is the only kit I know of that measures well in the optimal range for ionizers and Nature2 units.
